Stinger, NHL Mascot Pals to Appear at NHL All-Star 5K Race

Popular Columbus Blue Jackets mascot Stinger will be among the honorary starters at the NHL All-Star 5K Race on Saturday, Jan. 24 at Nationwide Arena.

Stinger will be joined on the Start Line by the Pittsburgh Penguins' Iceburgh and Carlton The Bear of the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Stinger, Iceburgh and Carlton The Bear help kick off the NHL All-Star 5K, which will feature up to 4,000 runners and walkers who will take a 3.1-mile tour of downtown Columbus, the Arena District and the Short North before finishing back at Nationwide Arena.

Participants will receive an NHL All-Star 5K Race-themed Official Finisher's Medal, an NHL All-Star 5K Race-themed Long Sleeve Gender Specific Technical Race Shirt, and an OhioHealth NHL All-Star 5K Buff. Runners and walkers also receive discounted entry into the NHL Fan Fair™ at the Greater Columbus Convention Center.
